Ikea said on Wednesday it is recalling a batch of garlic presses due to a risk of small metal fragments detaching during use.

The recall affects the black Ikea 365+ Vardefull garlic press, sold under article numbers 201.521.58, 305.781.89 and 601.636.02. The impacted products carry date stamps from 2411 to 2522 (format: year/week).

The affected items can be identified by the Ikea logo on the upper handle, the company said in a statement.

Customers are advised to return the product to any Ikea store for a full refund. Proof of purchase is not required.

If customers are unable to verify the date stamp, Ikea said they may return any black 365+ Vardefull garlic press for a refund.
